Z Theme – One Page or Multi-Page Website

Welcome the Z Theme for WordPress. Our newest theme – Z – was originally planned to be only a One Page Template with Parallax Effect that included everything you need to showcase your business. Though, after some early sneak peeks, the unanimous consensus from folks was that they want the ability to use it as a full-blown website as well. So we spent a few extra weeks to satisfy the One Page and Multi-Page needs of our community members.

Z One Pager

We have gone through every single pixel of this theme to offer a stylish layout coupled with an extremely powerful options panel for easy setup. In the end, we produced an elegant theme that took more time to develop than any of our magazine themes. A total number of 22.000 lines of code, 8 weeks of coding and countless number of coffees.

One Page vs. Many Pages

Yes, its a One Page theme that gives you ability to showcase everything on a single landing page. However, you shouldn’t have to switch to another theme if you change your mind. So we included front pagecategory, post and portfolio templates. There’s also a unique CV template for your team members. With tons of possible layouts and options, it’s extremely easy to setup a beautiful site with only a few clicks.

Front Page Templates

Static Image, YouTube / Vimeo video, Background Slider or a Callout Intro. No matter what you have in mind, Z has every layout that you’d need to set up a site. Click here to demo the multiple front page layouts.

can we switch/toggle between any background (slides, youtube, vimeo) seamlessly

    • Mehmet Ozek   December 14, 2014 at 11:17 AM

      Hi Sai,

The background slider option unfortunately does not (yet) has ability to slide between image and video.

Nice choice of typography. Well done.

Just one additional comment: Needs an option for self-hosted video (mp4 with ogv support). Using YouTube as a video background is nice and easy, but would prefer self-hosted video option (more reliable, no TOS issues, etc.)

    • Mehmet Ozek   December 14, 2014 at 11:18 AM

We are on it Christopher, We will implement mp4 video support to next version of theme.

This is exatly what i’ve been looking for! Is there an option of adding tabbed sections, accordions, toggles and sliders inside the posts\pages?

    • Mehmet Ozek   December 14, 2014 at 11:19 AM

      Hi Roman,
We are going to expand the ability of our shortcodes to provide support for tabs on a new version. But meanwhile you can easily use a plugin that has tab and accordion supports.

It looks good but I think one-page sites are gimmicky, and not likely to serve site owners well in terms of SEO.

I am curious to know if you’ll be updating older templates you’ve published to make them responsive. I like some older designs but am reluctant to use them now because they’re not responsive.

I’m sure I’m not the only person thinking that.

    • Mehmet Ozek   December 14, 2014 at 11:26 AM

      Hi Al,
Z comes with multi page option as well.
Wp-Newspaper is the only theme that we plan to add responsive style at the moment.

Hello… I’m on the playground (using Chrome Version 39.0.2171.95 (64-bit)) on a Mac and not seeing Z as an option to try. Is there something not working correctly?

    • Mehmet Ozek   January 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM

      Hi Joe,
Sorry about the issue. And thanks for head-up. We just added Z to playground.
