Here’s a quick list:

  • New WordPress 2013 Theme
  • Post Revisions
  • 15 Second Autosave
  • Auto-embed Videos & Audio

The new release should be stable, but just in case your plugins don’t play nicely with Oscar, back up your website before upgrading.  Read more details about the featured of WordPress 3.6 on the official WordPress blog.

WordPress 3.7 & 3.8 on the Horizon

In his recent State of the Word address to the WordPress community at San Francisco WordCamp 2013, Matt Mullenweg revealed that the next update for WordPress would be scheduled for release sometime in September with WordPress 3.8 expected in October. The fact that the WordPress team is releasing the new Post Edit formats plugin and working fast on other projects is especially impressive due to this new development schedule. Expect details soon!
