WordPress 3.1 was released a few days ago and if you are wondering if it’s OK to upgrade, feel free to do so at anytime. Here at Gabfire Themes, we’re real excited about the WP 3.1 release as it gives us theme developers a bunch of new functions, such as Post Formats support. Even more importantly, WP 3.1 includes a handful of updates that will streamline your content publishing and internal linking. We’ll touch on some of the neat features at a later time.

For now, just know that Gabfire Themes are fully compatible with WP 3.1 so feel free to upgrade, but be sure to check your third-party plugins as some may not yet be compatible with the latest release.
