Capacity for Business, Agency or Portfolio sites

We’ve gone back to the drawing board twice while developing the Capacity theme. Largely because I’m a stickler for details, but more so because we’ve built dozens of sites for clients who had all sorts of strange requirements. Releasing a theme that didn’t cover most of their needs would only require more work after-the-fact. Therefore, the idea behind the Capacity theme was to ensure it was flexible enough to use for various purposes:

  • Portfolio theme
  • Business or Agency
  • Personal blog

When you’ve worked with as many clients as we have, one thing is always constant – they never have the same needs nor do they use WordPress in the same manner. Some develop their sites solely based on pages, whereas others prefer using posts and categories. Some prefer the minimal and straight-forward¬† approach to their site, whereas others prefer to capture everything under the sun.

Whatever your style or preference, we were thinking about it while building Capacity. Here are a few of the neat features baked into this versatile theme:

Sneak Peek: Capacity Business Theme

Since some of you have been asking what’s going on behind the scenes at Gabfire labs, here’s a quick sneak peek. Currently, we’re working on a new theme to add to the lineup named Capacity.

It’s got everything you’d want for a business, portfolio, or agency website. We got some really creative people in our community so we’re looking forward to seeing what you all do with this. I’ll share the feature details once we’re a bit further along. Until then, let us know what you think of this upcoming theme.

Overtime – Working off the clock

Here at Gabfire HQ, we always try to anticipate our clients’ needs and elaborate innovative tools, techniques and solutions. We consider our clients as a part of the development team. Upon many requests we received from our clients to release a framework and business themes, and as we promised it as a part of 2011 plans, here we are with our new theme Overtime.

Overtime is a great example of possibilities that come with Source, the theme framework we released a couple of weeks ago. Together with the release of Source we have set some high standards for all our themes. We have been working hard on implementing the framework into our old themes, and along the way had the chance to release our very first theme based on Source.

Promotion of a business is just as important as the business itself. With Overtime, we aimed to provide an “all in one” solution to promote your company, product or service. Whether you want to build a website for a law firm, a school, real estate or travel agency or even a website for a health care field, you’ll find the possibilities of building it within minutes using Overtime.
