We are excited to announce the release of WpNewspaper v1.5, an upgraded version of the extremely popular WpNewspaper template.
The new version received an Extended Theme settings page that will let you make all the customization and configuration you want in a flash. The multilevel drop down navigation makes page navigation a cake walk. WpNewspaper v1.5 also offers category-based ads support. So now you don’t need to scratch your brains or make any software customization to make your web page ad compliant.
More than anyone else, we understand the importance of being visible in search engine results. Hence the new template has been search engine optimized for all major search engines out there on the design table itself. You don’t need anymore tampering with the design/codes to make it search engine friendly. Finally, the Localization (gettext) support and enhanced site features make the WpNewspaper v1.5 a different beast altogether than the one you’ve already been used to.
We like to keep you guessing until the update circle is completed. There are few more dots to be connected before the final version hits the market in the next few weeks. For the time being, we are keeping it a secret. Check this space regularly for all the updates!

I find your themes really great, and in the next months probably will be getting one. The problem for us in no-English speaking countries, is translate all the relevant features. Date format, specially, is a headache.

Date format is a configuration in theme control panel with our themes. You can easily use either MM,DD,YYYY, or DD,MM,YYYY. You just need to select which format to use.

I love the changes you've already made, especially the more compact section display on the front page. The new position of the featured image is an improvement, as well. If there is one tweak I'd like to see in a future update is making the two logo image areas in the header widgets. This would be a great way to put a weather widget or top news spot.

Ed, you can actually use Header with Ad option and place widget code into 468×60 ad spot's column. That is a new feature implemented into WpNewspaper

There is no secret, We have two similar newspaper themes, one of them is basic and named as WpNewspaper which you can buy on this page. And the second one is named as Advanced Newpsaper which can be purchased on that page

Oh, the language, sorry for not being clear.
When we first released WpNewspaper theme around 1.5 year ago, we had pretty simple interface, but by the time we released over 5 different versions where in each version we have got a new feature implemented. Latest version is 1.5 which is available on our site for sale, but when we write this post to announce 1.5 version we actually didn't mean it to be the latest version released.
Our secret is adding new features constantly and releasing a newer/fresh theme all the time. So we actually meant we will later have a 1.6 version released. The improvement process will always go on

I have a hosting service and a domain name but I don't know how to get the WP Newspaper 1.5 Gabfire theme in my hands. I don't see a place to download and purchase it on my website. How do I get this done? Can I use WordPress as my hosting site by upgrading. If so- upgrade to what?

Hi Mike, if you have purchased this theme previously, you must have free access to the updated version of this theme.Please get in contact with us using Presales & Account Queries option of this contact form. And make sure to enter email that you have used to purchase your theme from us.
Unfortunately, updating theme will cause you to lose all your customization.
