This is a lesson bloggers who want to earn money from blogging must learn early in life. I spun my wheels for months and months on end to try and make free themes work, but to no avail.

When I purchased the current premium theme I now use about a month ago, I realized that I should have done it long ago. It makes life SO MUCH easier. One that I am very happy about is that I managed to get my site indexed within 6 hours, and on page one of Google (nr 4) within another 24 hours.

Since them, I'm hooked on my premium theme (I think this is not the place to mention theme names).

It works for me!

The only difference between standard and developers pack are the number of the themes that you get after the purchase. If you purchase standard, you get the theme. If you purchase developers, you get same theme, but plus you get 3 extra themes with it.

I actually uploaded a free theme and thought…this isn't happening. I tried to design a theme myself and then thought…oh hell no.

But I love your themes and I totally agree with what your saying. That time I could spend in research and development for my own theme can be spent populating my website after I purchase a premium theme.

One question though…what is the difference between the standard and developer's pack?! Do developers essentially buy one and get three?

Uniqueness. Above all of these is Uniqueness. Could you imagine competing with a site that looks exactly like yours? I had that problem with one of my sites.

There is something what is not yet written above, but support is the most important part of a premium theme. Actually that is the thin line that separates free and paid themes

For me it has to be Time! But also if I am going to pay more for a premium theme it also needs ot provide extra functionality and style that I can't get anywhere else for free. Basically I don't mind paying if it helps me get my jobs done quicker and easier.

Must say that today there are just so many great themes around and many free ones now have premium status imho!
