There is a block with 2 arrows just underneath my bottom 300X 250 ad and I don’t know how to populate it with content (videos or ads). There is also new instructions in the theme options about a media bar. Then the widget names have changed. There is no more footer pages widget area. I used to have a bottom leaderboard in that space and I can’t have it anymore.
Where Can I find a document with concise theme population instructions? for this theme?

The tag display have never been an option advanced newspaper theme, so basically this is not a bug. But this it requires a very easy code implementation. Submit a thread at forums, we will help you there.

I have found that this update has brought a slew of new bugs. There are two that are most prominent. The first would be that the Catch First Image option under Image Handling no longer works, it just shows a link in place of where a thumbnail should be. The second would be if there is no categories activated under tabbed content, it still shows a bar with arrows on it. As of this moment this update had been more hassle than it has been worth.

One last thing I noticed, I hate to be a bother, was that on Media pages clicking on a thumbnail image now only pops up a larger image and the title, rather than previously where it showed the text of the accompanying post also. I don’t know if this was done purposefully or would be considered a bug. I do however appreciate the ability to arrow between media rather than having to exit the current piece and selecting a new piece of media. Overall great update!

Two things: 1. Google says your homepage is compromised. Just type “Gabfire themes” into Google search. 2. I recently bought your Advanced Newspaper Theme. I followed all of your instructions and it is giving me server 500 errors – tested on two different sites. You need to retest this as it is driving me crazy.

Hi Charles, we are trying to find the reason of that issue with Google. Probably the changes with CDN server caused that otherwise our site is OK. As for theme issues, please use our support forums. It looks like a plugin conflict or configuration issue.

2.2 is the latest version. But 2.1.6 is a very stable version as well. For tag links, please submit a thread to our support forums

I’m looking for a theme suitable for a soccer site. So, I have two questions …
1) Although I really like traditional newspaper look of Advanced Newspaper, I would like to know if you are planning to launch a similar theme in the near future, a theme that would be modernised (but still resemble the AN) and be mobile responsive?
2) i heard somewhere responsive layouts cannot be integrated with Google Adsense. Is this true? If it is, what would be other good way of monetization of a newly opened sports site?

Hi Nick, the latest version of advanced newspaper is 2.6. This is an old post. And yes, you can use the latest version on a Russian language site. You may need to translate theme into Russian. We have tutorials for translation and it is not something that would take more than 30 min.

Hi, my client purchased advanced newspaper theme, great theme but i can’t find the way for showing authors image, gravatar, avatar, etc. Always shows misery man image.
I’ve searched forums and found nothing.
installed authors image plugin and I can upload an image enetring as author but still “mistery man” is appearing

Hi, I installed the Advanced Newspaper theme 4 days ago and twice since that time, the site has malfunctioned where the header and the slider are the only things that would appear. I had to uninstall and reinstall the theme and everything went back to normal both times. Is there something I can do to prevent this? My host is Hostgator.
